A legal, non profit poker and social club
We have been operating in the Hudson Valley since 2005. We are proud to offer poker tournaments and live games 6 days a week. We play Texas Hold‘em (no limit and limit), Omaha (pot limit and hi/lo) and we are receptive to adapting any of our games based on member interest. Every table, for both tournaments and live games, have professional and dedicated dealers.
You can also enjoy other recreational activities such as watching sporting events on one of our 3 65" HD TV's or a friendly game of gin. We have free high speed wireless internet so you can stay connected while here. There is no smoking in our club, although we provide designated areas outside.
We serve catered hot and cold food, free of charge, at all games. Snacks are available at all times. We have a wide variety of non-alcoholic drinks available from our waitresses which are also free of charge. We make every effort to accommodate any specific needs and requests regarding food and beverage (i.e. kosher, vegetarian, etc.). Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
Big Slick regularly gives back to its members with holiday parties, annual dinners, social events and our legendary Super Bowl Sunday Bash.
We welcome poker players of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned veterans. We offer tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $50 entries to $1000. Our regular live games $2/$5 no limit Texas Hold‘em to pot limit Omaha. and $10/$20 Hi Low Omaha. See our schedule for details.
We offer quarterly $1,000-$1,500 freeroll tournaments (free entry, prize pool donated by Big Slick). We host our annual 20-person Monster Tournament which pays for a $10,000 seat in the World Series Of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. To be elgible, you must be a member. The top twenty players on our annual tournament point list get a seat to the Monster Tournament.
All members are expected to act and play in a responsible manner. Rude, abusive, obscene or otherwise inappropriate language does not have any place at the poker table and will not be tolerated.
